Iberian Portfolio
Schist-terraced field blends from the Cima Corgo.
Quinta do Mirante has been in continuous production since 1892, when the Almeida family planted the first schist terraces above the confluence of the Pinhão and Douro rivers. The property remains family-owned and independently bottled.
The estate farms 24 hectares of field-blend vineyards — Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and heritage varieties that share the same parcels their ancestors did. Everything is foot-trodden in granite lagares.
Grus Drinks introduced Quinta do Mirante to the North American market in 2021, focusing on independent wine merchants and Michelin-listed restaurants.
